As the airline of Hawai‘i, we teamed up with Hawaiian Airlines to position them as the go-to experts for island exploration. In 2020, we embraced the rise of Instagram Reels to share captivating content, riding on viral trends and partnering with Hawaiian Airlines to create branded content that fully leveraged this new platform. We capitalized on social media holidays like World Oceans Day and National Beach Day to showcase our islands' beauty, collaborating with local businesses to highlight Hawaii's unique charm.
In my role as lead producer, I prioritized setting practical deadlines, staying within budget, and ensuring smooth collaboration between internal and client teams. Our focus was on managing production pipelines efficiently while maintaining quality standards. Crucially, we consistently aligned our efforts with Hawaiian Airlines' goals – boosting travel demand to Hawaii and educating audiences on the best experiences once they arrive.
